Between Women invites our community to attend and support our Annual Benefit. We recognize the last Saturday in September to "kick off" breast cancer awareness in Imperial County. Breast cancer awareness day is the 16th day of October in honor and memory of those beautiful women in our lives.
Imperial County women, Latina, Asian, African-American, Filipino and White are affected by breast cancer yearly. These beautiful women have battled victoriously and enjoy celebrating, learning from our speakers and the audience their journey and battle won. The Benefit is always an uplifting event.
Between Women has taken magnificent portraits of these delightful ladies as a highlight of our event. We have enlarged these Portraits to 30 X 20, matted them, and suspended them high above, with all their splendor, for our banquet attendees to view. We call these our "Portraits of Hope". To date we have 60 Portraits of Hope and counting! This is our signature fundraiser. We want to express our gratitude to our loyal sponsors listed below.
